  • Hold ILR, Indefinite Leave to Enter or Settled Status for at least 12 months
  • Have not spent more than 450 days outside the UK in the 5 years preceding the application
  • Have not spent more than 90 days outside the UK in the 12 months before the application
  • Be of good character (no serious criminal record)
  • Pass the Life in the UK test
  • English language proficiency at B1 level or above
