What is the Global Talent Visa?

The Global Talent Visa is a prestigious route for individuals who are recognised as leaders or emerging talent in digital technology, science, engineering, arts, culture or academia. Unlike most other work visas, no job offer or UK sponsor is required.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Endorsement as "Exceptional Talent" or "Exceptional Promise" from an approved endorsing body (e.g. Tech Nation for digital technology, UKRI for science)
  • Demonstrable outstanding achievements in your field (publications, awards, patents, portfolio)
  • Evidence that your work has had significant impact in your area of expertise
