What is the Student Visa?

The UK Student Visa is for international students aged 18 and over who wish to study a full-time course at a UKVI-licensed educational institution. You must hold a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your institution before applying.

Eligibility Requirements

  • An unconditional offer from a UKVI-licensed (Student sponsor) institution
  • A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number
  • Sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living costs
  • English language proficiency at B2 level (IELTS, TOEFL, OET etc.)
  • TB test certificate if required for your country
  • Aged 18 or over (those aged 16–17 must apply for a Child Student Visa)
